Around the Lake July 2017

Categories // News Blog

It has been an interesting couple of months since the last email with the weather playing havoc around the country and many club items being discussed and advanced to improve our area.  Luckily the snow missed us here in Christchurch and we hope you have been getting out there every chance you get to keep those skis running in top shape.

Lake Closure
This coming Sunday 22 July the lake access road will be closed from midday till 3:30pm to allow a Lakeside relay to have uninterrupted crossing/use of the road for their event.  Please make sure you are out of the lake before midday.  We try to work closely with these other clubs and have a great relationship with them, we apologies for the inconvenience caused if you had plans to use the lake on this day during this time.

Lake Maintenance
There has been a lot going on in the background lately trying to sort out issues or improve our lake area.  Although many things are still on going we have had a win with the new start area mostly complete with not much more to be done to finish it off.  If you'd like to see more pics jump over to Facebook where you will find the album. We are working on a solution for the road and are also aware of the issues with the car park at this time.
