The South Island Jet Sports Tour is run in accordance with the New Zealand Jet Sports Boating Association, the International Jet Sports Boating Association 2011 current rule book and any supplementary rules as set by the NZJSBA (a full copy of these is available on request). Before competing, all riders should familiarize themselves with the rule book fully.

Registration of competitor entries All competitors should be on site no later than 8.00am |

Scruitineering/safety check of ski and riders safety equipment Your ski is given a safety check and your safety equipment including life jacket and helmet are checked for wear and tear. |

Riders Briefing. Competitors riding at each event MUST attend riders briefing. The official race director will brief you on the course and any safety aspects. |

Race Licenses
All competitors must hold a current NZJSBA Race License or apply for a day license. You can apply for licenses at any NZJSBA sanctioned event/South Island Tour event.

You MUST hold a full license to compete at the New Zealand Nationals Event.
2009/10 NZJSBA Rule book Changes:
The South Island Tour will be racing to the 2009 International Rule Book with the following supplementary rules set by the NZJSBA:
• All Pole Skis will race to the IJSBA Rule Book for their respective class ie; Stock and Open/Super Stock. • All 2 Stroke Runabouts will race to the IJSBA Rule Book for their respected Class • All Naturally Aspirated 4 Stroke Runabout will race to the IJSBA Rule Book for their respected Class • All Forced induction 4 Stroke Runabout will race to the NZ Factory Stock Class Rules (as per the stock class rules for 2006/07 season)
